The whole unit is removeable all together. Very easy to take off to charge your phone on a magsafe charger.

The point of it being removable is so you can use MagSafe charging or wireless charging! Go for it! It’ll work :) it really depends on your case!

Yes, it is easily removable and the MagSafe PopGrip should be removed before charging the phone wirelessly.
