“Is there a way to lower the volume of the startup and connection tones. I use my speaker in an office and my co-workers across the room can hear when my bluetooth has connected to my speaker. It's such a disruption that I may have to find another one.”

• I do not believe there is. You can try placing the speaker to your leg in an attempt to mute or lower the sound. But there is no setting for it that I know of.

• I don't think so! There's only one tone of the same volume for it.

• There should be an option on your phone to disable the connection alert. Not sure what phone you have but google it and I bet you’ll find where to turn it off.
