“We had a power outage. My printer is not getting power to it. I have changed the place where it was plugged in, it still is not getting power. There is no light on in the front, but there is a small green light on in the back. It is an HP Envy 7640.”

Hi Shirley. Thanks for reaching out about this. The printer should be okay if it was plugged into a surge protector. If it was just plugged into the wall, go ahead and unplug the printer from power, hold down the power button on the printer itself for about 30 seconds, plug it back into the wall and press the power button again. This should help it reboot. If nothing comes online, the printer might have been fried unfortunately. Please let us know if you need further troubleshooting or have questions!
