Hello, Yes it is a good bike. The only problem is the seat is too small. As long as you are comfortable with the seat it will work great.

Seat at the lowest vertical position: top of seat to top of pedal in the furthest position = 28.75 inches..... middle of seat to the edge of the hbar: in the furthest forward horizontal position = 21.5 inches..... in the middle horizontal position = 23 inches..... Seat at the highest vertical position: top of seat to top of pedal in the furthest position = 38.00 inches..... middle of seat to the edge of the hbar: in the furthest forward horizontal position = 24 inches..... in the middle horizontal position = 25.5 inches..... Most of our equipment is designed for someone up to 6' 4". He may find this to be a little tight.
