if the kids can play 2d mario games without a hitch, then this will be a solid addition to their game library.  
i'd guess roughly 8yrs+ ... it does require precise coordination and timing... its too demanding for my 6 yrs old to get far, but not by too much.

I would recommend 9 and up for the suggested age. Not to say any content is inappropriate for younger audiences but I feel like they might find the speed of the platforming too difficult.

I would say about 9. Most younger kids can get frustrated. Its a great game, my son and daughter love the game.9 and 14 years of age.

I would let my son play at about 7. There is nothing bad in it that I think. I know this is subjective, but it is light hearted.

I would suggest that this be played by someone no younger than 10. The game requires some finger dexterity to traverse some of the obstacles. The music and cartoon effects could certainly be for a younger age but I don't believe they could play it.
