I believe the 10 is a little misleading too. I would think by 10 they mean three on the right: Side buttons and DPI clutch, 5 on top: 2 main buttons, scroll wheel button, and the two buttons before it that switch scrolling modes and DPI respectively. The final two is most likely the button "presses" when you tilt your scroll wheel left and right as that can be binded in some games I think.
