• the key board feels like its made of metal so your old one might work, the one it comes with is not connected to it at, and is just loose but if you put it on the keyboard in the right spot it stays in place due to the feet on the wrist rest

• Its wrist rest latches on automatically when you place it near the keyboard via a series of integrated magnets.
