• On mine it does not appear to connect to the keyboard in any way, it instead fits snuggly up against the keyboard and the rubber feet on the bottom keep it from sliding around.

• this one isnt unfortunately, you can just place it onto the keyboard.

• It's not. This one just kind of rests on the bottom edge of the keyboard and is solid plastic

• If you mean magnetic attachment to perfectly align to the keyboard, then yes, it's magnetic. The wrist rest latches on automatically when you place it near the keyboard via a series of integrated magnets.
