Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a shotgun microphone, most definitely not a 360 microphone. Yes, it can and will pick up sound from the sides etc. but it uses a standard shotgun cardioid shape to focus the brunt of the sensitivity forward, allowing you to pick up your subject more clearly at mild distance even where there might be cross chatter. Given this style of mic is really meant to do almost the opposite of what it appears you want, I'd have to say it's not the mic for that particular purpose. I'd ask myself, however, if you really need a 360 mic, or if a forward capture pattern would actually work in your use case, because this is an infinitely adjustable and amazing mic for the price point. But don't take my word for it, this is a bullet from the features list for this microphone from RØDE's site: "Highly directional supercardioid polar pattern and very flat frequency response"
