• A:Answer Yes, the microphone does need power from the camera or some external source. The mic comes with a 3.5mm TRS-to-TRS cable to use with equipment having Plug-In Power and a 3.5 mm TRS-to-TRRS cable for use with computers, smartphone, laptops, and so on.

Q: QuestionCan I plug this microphone to my iPhone 8 Plus? Also, can I plug a headset to the microphone?

• A:Answer You can use this mic with anything that supports USB-C. The mic does not have a 3.5mm headphone out jack though so you can not use headphones directly from the mic.
