Sony says 600 pictures, honestly I would say a whole day out at the zoo or something. I picked up an extra battery just in case though.

The N Series Lithium-Ion Battery Pack is used in Sony W310, W330, W350, and TX7 Digital Cameras each camera uses the battery differently. Battery life is dependent on activity and usage. Video, Still pictures or simply reviewing will determine how long a charge will last. Please consult the operations manual of your camera and it will provide approximate battery life times depending on the situation.
