  • QuestionDoes it come with rechargeable battery

    Asked by Sunshine5.

    • Answer Hi Sunshine5. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question. Yes, the Ring Stick Up Cam comes with a Ring Quick Release Battery Pack. The Ring Quick Release Battery is a rechargeable battery. To charge the battery for your Stick Up Cam (3rd Gen), Battery or Solar: Open the battery compartment by twisting the battery cover counter-clockwise to unlock it, then removing it from your Stick Up Cam. Remove the battery by pressing the release tab. Plug your Micro-USB cable to the battery's charging port. Your battery is fully charged when only the solid green light is on. Slide the fully charged battery back into Stick Up Cam until it clicks in place. Place the battery cover back onto your Stick Up Cam. Note: Use a common Micro-USB cable, such as the orange one included in your Ring box. Simply plug it into any USB power source. The battery can take around 5-10 hours to fully charge depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet. • QuestionIs this compatible with the Solar panel with the the USB-C Ring barrel plug adapter

    Asked by Beard43.

    • Answer Hi Beard43. We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. Yes, the Ring Outdoor Cam is compatible with the Ring Solar Panel (USB-C). The device's battery level may vary based on the amount of direct sunlight the solar panel receives. It is important to ensure that your Ring Solar Panel is installed correctly and that it is receiving enough direct sunlight to operate as intended. For best performance, Ring recommends at least two to three hours of direct sunlight for the Ring Solar Panel. With the recommended amount of direct sunlight, the device will remain continuously charged under most conditions.
