If it's for sound proofing issues, you still only need one base unit, you can place a second keypad instead. They are also alarm units, and will siren just as the base unit does. I can't think of a reason to use two base units, other than two different homes, like a duplex. Just add keypad units, and if necessary, signal extenders, and you should be covered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Instead of installing two base stations, they have range extenders that you can utilize. We have one of these in our apartment because of how many darn WiFi signals are present in our house. One came with our box and you can order more from Ring.
