Installation is fairly easy. You have DIY videos in the ring app which can help guide you through the process. You get 2 motion sensors in the kit. You will have to purchase additional ones separately. Process of adding them will be same as above (do Add Device from the ring app and proceed further).

Please try again later.installation is very easy. first you set up the base station, which is straight forward, connect a cat 5 cable your router and plug it in. you just need enough tech knowledge to load and run an app, you enter your kits info by scanning a qr code and you're ready to install. once your info is entered all the included devices are listed. when you are ready to place a sensor or contact you pull the plastic tab and the batteries power on the device which is then automatically found by the app. there is double sided tape on each device which you can use to mount, or you can slide open the device and screw it in place (screws are not included), i used the tape and it seems to be holding very well. the keypads must be plugged in so keep that in mind when placing them. if you need more devices there is an option to add them, so you can add as many as you need. i was not sure of the area covered by the motion sensors so i placed them without mounting and tested the area being covered until i found where i wanted them. the installation was quick and easier than i thought. ring did a great job on making a high tech system easy to use.
