- Yes on doorbell 2 - I have that set up and it’s all integrated in the app so you can see all of your devices. - Yes for arm/disarm in app - Yes you can add additional sensors to the system - it’s all done via the app - I believe geek squad can do it, but as the previous comment said, this system is designed to be done by homeowners with little to no experience (like me!) - it’s all plug and play. One item to note - the motion camera is default to run just like your ring doorbell - any movement any time. It can flood your notifications and record movement. Simple fix - disable the camera in settings and have it only activate when you set the alarm to away mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Ring Doorbell 2 will work with this system. The doorbell and all security components all populate and can be controlled through the same app on your phone. You can also arm and disarm the system through your phone, via the app. And, the system is very expandable. Its a great system to build on, as well. Very easy to add more components. I would definitely suggest grabbing a few more sensors and an extra keypad! As far as GeekSquad installation, I'm not sure if they do or do not offer installation- but I will tell you that the DIY installation is VERY easy and user friendly. You can probably get it installed and set up on your own with ease!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, installation is not free. Geek Squad charges 99.99+ (For 10 sensors that’s including keypad and motion detector anything more is additional) and additional for the camera (99.99). However, if you are a Total Tech Support member, you get 50% off these services. As for everything else asked prior to that, yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is nothing to install, it all super easy and sensors are self adhesive. The list all kind of extra sensors for purchases. The Ring gen 2 can use gen 1 sensors as well.
