A:AnswerHi rksnj,
If you have not signed up for Ring Protect Plus your Ring Alarm system will still monitor your home, but any alerts will be sent solely to your smartphone and/or email and not to authorities. Additionally, siren volume cannot be reduced or completely shut off.

A:AnswerHi Bsanto,
The Ring Alarm motion detectors use Passive Infrared sensors (PIR) to scan whatever room they're placed in. The PIRs used in Ring Alarm, however, are "pet-friendly." That means they are calibrated to ignore heat sources from animals that are approximately 33 pounds or less (at medium setting) and 55 pounds or less (at low setting). We advise you to use your seven-day practice period to try and adjust the sensitivity slider on your Ring Alarm to a point where your animal no longer sets off the alarm.

A:AnswerI got my sign as a pre order but the camera was never offered to me. I order the Ring Security System the 1st time in 2017, and then only the solar sign, extra sensors and motion detector was offered extra for $299.
A:AnswerHi LT,
Thanks for reaching out.
Yes, Ring Alarm supports Z-Wave devices. However, please do note that although other Z-Wave sensors can be added to the system they will not be used for security purposes or dispatch to police.

A:AnswerI didn’t have Echo, Alexa or any Ring products before I purchased the Ring doorbell & also a Ring home system with sensors & monitors. All you need is internet. The products are paired with your phone to get alerts. It was easy to install & works well with my iPhone.
A:Answerthere are three door and window sensors with the package. we purchased more at Best Buy, but you can also go online to ring.com and order from there
A:AnswerThe base does generate an audible tone for arm and disarm, as well as a visible “countdown” before the alarm goes off. It doesn’t have an individual indicator for which sensor set the system off on the panel, but it does in the Ring app.
