Yes it does. The reason for the bridge is to link other Ring devices together. For Instance, if my motion detector spotlight senses activity, it can turn on my cameras/lights in other places around the house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Seems to me that you can buy it just to use as a motion activated light and then later buy the bridge to connect to other ring devices. The bridge sometimes goes on sale. I have a ring doorbell and eventually want to get a spotlight cam so would buy the bridge device at some point but in the meantime this will give me extra light. Ring in general seems to be the best budget do-it-yourself option. I also have ADT, but their ADT plus system with cameras, etc. is too expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work as a motion light but you can’t control it without the bridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work but won't connect to your Ring network without it. And you won't be able to set cameras to record when light activates or vise versa, it will just be a motion activated light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
