Hi Mike11,

Yes. The Ring Floodlight Cam will function during the day. The lights on the Floodlight Cam will only turn on for motion events when it's dark however, the cam will alert you when motion is detected.

Yes it works 24/7 the lights don't come on until evening time unless you control the lights through your phone

Well if you have it on a switch then it must stay on. But I’m supper happy with it it works like a charm it doesn’t skip a beat and gets the job done. I had my car broken into and this thing makes me feel like I know what’s going on at all times with notifications and ringtones. Also ring has the neighborhood watch that tell you every burglary reported and suspisious activity.
