It says that this light runs on 240Vs. Can this floodlight be hooked up to an outside light on the garage that's 110Vs? Or, does the wiring have to be rewired? Not sure if this will cause the light not to perform 100% and will it pass code? null

I believe that’s a typo. I purchased 2 of them and replaced my outdoor spot lights with them and they work perfectly. All my outdoor lights are 110v. I did notice that when I was purchasing them but figured I take a chance. 
Ok Maybe it’s not a typo Behind the light it said AC:100-240v I’m guessing it can be used with both. I will add a picture
 but no worries they work perfectly with 110v

The installation of your Ring Floodlight Camera is intended to be a relatively easy process. However, as the Floodlight Camera requires a junction box as well as wiring up live wires, it's recommended you hire a licensed electrician to install the Floodlight Cam. The Ring Floodlight Cam should be connected to a 100 VAC~240 VAC 50/60 Hz power source.

Everything you need (except a junction box) to install Floodlight Cam comes in the box. If you already have an existing wall-mounted floodlight, you can easily install Floodlight Cam into the existing junction box using the mounting bracket we provide.
