The Ring Spotlight was easily installed using the existing wiring for the cameras that were replaced. The wiring was 110v and standard for an American home. I am very pleased with the Ring system.

Have an electrical background and was impressed with how simple it was as long as you have some wire strippers and can be electrically safe. The flood light even comes with all of the wire caps you'll need to connect your Ring light to existing flood light wires. I did have to modify my switches on the inside because I didn't want someone to flip the switch and accidentally cut power to the camera. Super easy fix, all you have to do is open the breaker for the switch, disconnect the terminal wires and cap your hot wires together and put the ground wire with all the other grounds. This gives continuous power to the light which is what you'll want.
