How do I get the floodlights to turn off ? null

When i turn motion detection off and lights off. The light still turns on no matter what. Sometimes i want to be outside at night without the flood light coming on. The only way i found to make it stay off is to kill the power to the ring device. The lights will not stay off no matter what buttons you turn off or on in the app.

Just tape the inside cover of the Ring with electrical black tape and no one will see a light anymore. Problem solved forever.

You can set it up to turn off after 30 seconds up to 15 minutes under the light settings You can also turn it on and off manually in the app.

If you are asking about manually, there is a switch on the ring app. Most things need to be set up using the app, such as the camera. Zones need to be created for the camera to record. Super easy.

Most times they turn off after a certain period of time. If you want them to turnoff sooner or they stick on in the spp there is a toggle to turn them off.

On the app click on you device name then unhighlight lights on the top right.it is above motion alerts.

You can turn the lights on or off through the phone (or tablet) app. You can also set a schedule, using the phone app, to turn them on and off automatically. If your flood light cams are wired through a switch and you turn the switch off it will turn the lights and the camera off completely.
