I removed the cord from the camera. It’s not a big deal. You just need very small screwdriver. I used a knife. Then I drilled a half inch hole through the wall and fed it through from my basement. Then reattached it and attached camera to outside wall. But yes, if they notice that you opened it, it probably will void the warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I drilled a hole through the stucco wall large enough to put the plug through . Then after setting it all up, a patched the hole with stucco repair. Stucco is gray so I got some gray patch and the hold is close to the camera, not really noticeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m sure it is possible, but would be a very difficult (tedious) task. I opened it up to see if it could be done when I installed mine, but there were too many small parts that would’ve needed to be taken out at the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You cannot remove the wire and yes, it's a pain to have that thick wire with this. I am returning this item as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The wire it’s self has a pretty big plug that hooks up to the camera about the size of the actual power prong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can remove the wire from the camera. Check out YouTube for a video that tells how to do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, the unit is sealed around the wire. It actually should not be taken apart you could void the warranty. You could drill through the mortar between the brick a hole that can be resealed approximately 2 inches in diameter
