I have mine mounted about 22 feet up. I haven't had any issues with detecting motion or picking up audio. I find the video to be just as clear if not clearer than my hardwired cameras.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No problem the ring cameras will easily motion detect up to around 80 foot depending on sensitivity and direction of camera to the movement. With good video recordings that do degrade some in low light.
