Hi Buddy. Thanks for asking. The Ring Stick Up Cam Wired does not use an Ethernet cable. It connects to your home's 2.4 GHz wireless 802.11b/g/n network. It is powered using an indoor/outdoor power adapter that plugs into a standard power outlet.
