I bought the outside stick cam a month ago. But I believe it has the weatherproof. Moreover, it has warranty a year from manufacturing. I love the ring so far since I have it.

It is made to work in weather under a eve or patio..... covered conditions. If you have the battery model, can be in places without being submerged. If you call Ring, customer service they will advise what product to purchase and operating temperatures as well as helpful installation suggestions.
