• Hello Golf, The Ring Video Doorbell 3 is compatible with most digital and mechanical doorbell systems powered by a transformer (8-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz). When hardwiring this doorbell to a compatible system it should auto-detect the type of chime kit you have and ring the chime kit inside your home when the button is pressed.
