Q: Questiondoes the Ring 3 come with a charger or is a charger a separate package?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer It comes with a cable. You have to take the battery out and use the cable with a not-included adapter (typical cell charger setup). If you are replacing an existing wired bell You can use the wires to hardwire the Ring and it will keep the battery charged. And it will ring your existing doorbell chime.

Q: QuestionHow wide is the mounting bracket?
Asked by Klk.
- A:Answer Same width as the bell. Which is about 2.5 inches. Similar in size to a business card. They do have a more narrow version if you're looking for that, it's the Ring Doorbell Pro. And, now I sound like I work for Ring, they have one even wider, it's the Elite. Hope that helps. Sevem

Q: QuestionHi, I just got my Ring 3 with a BLUE screwdriver. I can't remove the safety screw, it seems as if it has a plastic protector because I can't see the safety screw from the bottom. Can anybody please help me?
Asked by Ring.
- A:Answer Perhaps the safety screw was never installed? Try just removing the cover. If it comes off then the safety screw was never installed. If you get resistance then it's in there. If you can't get into position to see the safety screw area, Try using your phone to take a picture of it. Then you can view it to see if you see the screw in place. It's frustrating that the screws are sooo darn tiny! Good luck!

Asked by spidey.
- A:Answer No outside service needed to use this product, works great with the free Ring app. Works great with iPhones.I was told that Ring works great well Alexa and Sonos products which we also have, we just haven't needed to use with our Ring. You may want the additional plugin "doorbell." We are so happy with this product that we are adding to the system and adding Ring cameras to our animal barn so we can check on their safety through the winter months.

Q: Questionhow long does the battery last on one charge?
Asked by bless.
- A:Answer It depends on your settings and how much movement you have. I had it on battery only for a week and a half and the battery went from 100% to 82%. I finally got it hard wired to my original doorbell wires and that is much better!

Q: QuestionWHAT LINKSYS ROUTER SHOULD YOU BUY TO USE WITH RING 3
Asked by SKATEBOARD.
- A:Answer I actually first brought a linksys router but then returned it and ended up buying the NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4 AC2200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender - White. I just plugged it in my living room (which is close to the RING DOORBELL). This helped because I was getting the notice on my phone that the connection was weak. Worked well and no longer have an issue.
