• Chime is the doorbell a doorbell and it recorded to your phone and u can share with other people if u want but u don’t need a doorbell for this but u will need a wall outlet to keep it charging

• The chime is the actual sound of a doorbell for the ring. Many reviews including me will say the connection or setup for chime to your network can be a real problem or annoying.
