• That’s one of the questions when doing the set up it will ask and you pretty much just follow the video.

• Two choices, after removing the old doorbell; the Ring runs off a battery, if the wires from the old doorbell button have electricity, that will keep the Ring battery charged. If not, then it is easy to remove the battery to charge it occasionally with a regular phone charger. The Ring will operate a working inside doorbell rather it be a "ding dong" or one that plays a tune; the set up app walks you through that.
