Out of the box, your Ring Video Doorbell 3 is designed to keep you connected to your home in real time, no matter where you are. Each of our devices do include a free 30-day trial of the Ring Protect Plan. The optional Ring Protect Plan is available for as little as $3/month per device. With this, videos of each ring, motion, and live view event are stored in the cloud, allowing you to review, share, and save them at your leisure.

Without a plan, you will still receive real time motion and ring alerts, as well as have access to the Ring Live View feature.
