“I have had and upgraded to and from quite a few iterations of the Ring Doorbell. To put in my current 3+ I had to replace the existing wall mounting plate from the 2 as well. Does anyone know if I can use the existing 3+ wall plate to mount the 4?”

No, you will have to change the plate. The size for the four is slightly different than the three.

We don’t currently offer a mounting kit that allows you to upgrade to Ring Video Doorbell 4. However, you can purchase a Ring No-Drill Mount to cover the existing holes from your previous doorbell. The No-Drill Mount uses a strong, non-damaging adhesive to keep your doorbell securely attached to the wall. Just adhere No-Drill Mount to your wall, then attach your Video Doorbell 3, Video Doorbell 3 Plus, or Video Doorbell 4 to complete the installation.
