• This particular one can not, you need a door bell. But Ring does make one that can be used where there is not a door bell.

• Yes, but I believe you'll need to add the available chime and either be prepared to use the rechargeable battery option or the solar recharge unit.

• I am pretty sure they have one that is battery operated and does not need an existing doorbell and chime.
