• Unfortunately, the orientation cannot be changed. The new version should have horizontal outlets.

• The connection on the back doesn't swivel, so it all depends on the orientation of your outlet if its vertical then it will be as shown in the pic. If your outlet is horizontal then the position of the surge will be horizontal
