Yes, we have it for our new refrigerator and plan on buying more for our stove and microwaves. (A repairman told us about appliance surge protectors and recommended this size.) These are must haves as we found out the hard way, the slightest blip in the electricity to your home can fry any appliance!

It works incredibly well and meets the criteria for surge protection as outlined by the manufacturers of my two products. I would recommend that you check with the appliance manufacturer of your equipment to make sure that it provides at least the minimum level of protection for your appliance(s). This way, if you do have an issue your warranty cannot be questioned!
