“I have a Yamaha Receiver that requires a RCA plug in BUT I want to connect a Samsung sub woofer that requires a wired connection I want to insert the wires into these plugs and connect, will that work ?”

No. I purchased these and they do not fit into RCA connection of receiver. Not compatible.

No Banana plugs are only for inserting speaker wire to make the connections for your channel speakers more secure and dependable as well as making sure speaker wire doesn’t accidentally cross and short out. If your just wanting to connect a subwoofer. Depending on the age of your AV receiver it should have an RCA connector and all you should need is an RCA Cable.
