oh dear lord UPGRADE THAT CABLE. Older cable cannot support 4K UHD HDR because that didn't exist back then. DO NOT go on the cheap and think insignia is ok because it cheap because it truly is a bad cable. Go ROCKETFISH or if you seriously want a cable that will last you can try the SKY cables but those bad boys will cost you over $100. I can promise you that your not getting the full potential out of your TV with that old of a cable. An the old saying a cable is just a cable doesn't apply here. It has to support the new technology but that 10 year old one doesn't. Up for the new one....trust me it will make a difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would look into updating that particular cable for sure. There are several choices - types of cords available. Make sure you get a High Speed 4k cable and the specs are workable with your current system. That being said , there is no reason to spend more than 20$ , perhaps 15$ , on this particular cable. I recommend a cable that's long enough for you purposes , but not flimsy. Cheap is good , but cheaply made isn't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also had an older HDMI cable and was told an updated HDMI cable would make it better. I have an awesome picture, so I think this cable makes a huge difference. Probably time to update yours, as it cost around $20.00 and well worth it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is true. Your new TV has a newer HDMI than your cable supports. There really is a difference, the salesman wasn't lying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Worth buying the new cables. I tried old HDMI cables and then I tried the newer ones. There is a definite Picture quality difference. If you made such a big investment for a 4K Tv, get the cables to take full advantage of your system.
