“Electrical current does not run through the antenna in port on my TV, so I'm going to have to use the AC cord. The amp. does not have a power switch, do I un plug it when not in use or leave it on all of the time? Thanx.”

I prefer to just leave mine on. It is ultimately your choice, if i were you i would decide based on how often i used that T.V.
