Yes, it could be. But your gain will be reduced if not negated by the additional splitter. I would recommend an outdoor antenna amplifier ( of course much more costly). Or, just add one of these on each source ( may be smarter than the outdoor amplifier).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are very good "plain " splitters that would work quite well in the situation you are trying to use. I would not use a powered amplifier like this nice RF-G1179 for that job.
