Because the HDMI “Version” does not use a set standard, we don’t qualify our cables as such. What I can tell you is the HDMI features that are supported by this cable are • 1080p and Ultra HD 4K x 2K resolution: Plus Deep Color • Lip Sync, 3D TV • 7.1 surround sound • Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD • HEC (HDMI Ethernet Channel) • ARC (Audio Return Channel) • Most screen refresh rates for sharp visuals and audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - this is a HDMI Category 2 Cable. It's much faster than the current HDMI 1.4 standard of 10.2Gbps. HDMI 2.0 has a bandwidth of 18Gbps & support for 4K or Ultra HD video at 60 frames per second. With HDMI 1.4, the rate of 4K was limited to 24 frames per second. The extra bandwidth also means HDMI 2.0 is able to transport 4K video at 10-bit & 12-bit color depths. HDMI 1.4 it was limited to 8-bit. HDMI 2.0 cables are backward compatible with older HDMI versions, so you will be able to connect your old Blu-ray and/or AV Receiver to a new HDMI 2.0 equipped 4K Ultra HD TV with absolutely no problem.
