Hi! If you are mounting to the mounding I would recommend a thinner cord, this is very thick and it would be hard/unflattering. Plus the thin ones comes with pieces to conceal and place your cord on the edges of the moulding. Just set mine up this way and you can barely see it!

I tried an older coax cable and it failed. These have better shielding that the older cables and require less "boosting" or signal strength. So the simple answer, is this should meet your needs. I've attached an image of the clips I use. I've bought them at several places including Best Buy.
