You need to make sure you have removed the small beads of wax from the ends. There is a top and bottom. The cable will only fit one way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, just like a USB cable but not with four different ways instead of just two to insert it, the markings are very subtle. There is one side that is flat and has a linear bump and two corners that are slightly rounded. Best way is to have a flashlight (or flashlight from a smartphone) in your other hand to help you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you try removing the plastic protector caps? We had the same problem until we did that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this same problem then I realized the little plastic ball at the ends of the cables come off. They are just protection, once those were off everythingssnapped right into place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Take the plastic caps off the ends. Got me at first too
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a small raised ridge on one side of the connector. It will only fit into the hole one way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure the end of the cable is turned so that it exactly matches the configuration of the input you are trying to attach it to. You do have to press it in gently but firmly. I was a little too gentle at first, but once you get the feel for it, attaching the other end is not as bad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The connector is keyed...it only goes in one way. Look at the shape of the connector on the cable and look at the shape of the input connector on whatever you're plugging it into. Line them up and pop it in. You should feel a bit of a "click" when it pops into place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if it's a square optical port, you should have the right cable. The square port has a door, and the 90 degree square sides of the cable goes against the door where it hinges in. the rounded sides of the square optical connector face away from the door. If the optical input is not square with a door, you have the wrong cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just be sure you connect it the right way. I have a JBL sound bar and it works perfectly.
