“I want to be able to have my TV audio connect to my BT receiver and use the speakers that are connected. Will this device do the trick? The TV is installed on the back patio and the receiver is inside the house.”

It's possible for that to happen your TV would need to be able to connect to the Bluetooth and I'm not sure if your TV supports that. But I have my laptop and phone connected to my receiver with this device and it works perfectly it cuts so much cable management and long wires.

However, the distance between the TV and BT receiver must be no more than 25 to 30 feet range. Otherwise, the BT receiver won't pick up your TV audio signal. I have been using my BT receiver ever since I bought it. I use it mainly for indoor music audio (BT receiver to stereo receiver). It works great!
