Questiondoes the rocketfish- dvi -to-hdmi adapter convert to 1080p

- Answer The RF-G1173 simply adapts the pin location of the DVI port to connect to an HDMI port. The adapter doesn't convert a lower resolution signal to a higher one. If the DVI source device is outputting at 1080P then the HDMI input will also be 1080P.

QuestionWill this give me audio and sound if connecting my older tv with new blu ray player?I have an older tv with a dvi output and just received a new blu ray player with only an hdmi connection. Can I use this device to connect my tv and blu ray and will i get both video and audio? If not, what can I use?
