“Does this work with a 40” screen? I’m purchasing a 40” tv and the TV fits within the weight specifications, just 1 inch off of the dimensions of the screen. Does that matter?”

• My guess is that you could make it would work, but you should probably go with the larger option. I would never recommend a TV larger than the specification for the mount. The extra little bit you spend could save you in the long run if the mount fails.
