Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Initially had a hard time getting it to stay level also. I would level the unit and when I pushed it back to the wall it was no longer level. After making several attempts and getting frustrated (with my OCD) and persistence. I noticed that although the directions tell you to center the mount on the rear of the tv. The tv was not balanced. So I loosened the two screws in effort to balance the tv (get it so it hung level with the screws loose. After shifting the tv to one side so that it was level/ balanced with the screws loose. I tightened the screws and that did the trick.
