How large is the plate that gets mounted to the wall? null

It is a mounting bracket, not a plate. Mounting template included, and complete instructions. You will need to mount on wall studs. Very strong and sturdy assembly. You cannot see any part of the bracket when TV is against the wall, almost flush, only sticks out about 3 inches.

I have no idea, but it holds my 75” Samsung
