“Do the tv interface screws go all the way in? The top one is tight but there are not many threads sticking out the back. The bottom one only goes in, maybe 5 threads , then stops. It’s much looser then I’d expect. What is the thread/size of the screws?”

With a machinist background I can confirm that 5 turns is more than needed for it's job. If your bolt is all the way thru the hole then you are getting 100 percent bolt strength. Most applications in engineering recommend 1-1/2 times the diameter of the bolt. So a 5mm bolt should be 7-1/2mm deep. Probably more information than you asked but there it is.
