• You should be fine. It’s a rechargeable battery that can be docked on a charging stand. Either way it’s rechargeable!

• Yes, I do and don't seem to have any problems. As long as you have the right fitting for the controller it works fine. I use the same cord to charge 2 other devices with no problems.
