While metal studs are strong due to their design, they lack the density that wood studs have and therefore do not provide a good anchor point within the wall for any kind of significant weight. Usually, there are wood blocks placed between the metal studs during construction for things like hand rails, towel racks, etc.. It is unlikely that blocks were put in place for the purpose of a wall mount for a monitor. It would probably be best to locate the stud centers, drill holes, and use butterfly nuts and bolts. These are spring loaded nuts that go inside the wall and open up, then when they are tightened, they squeeze the mount to the drywall and metal stud. The metal studs rely on proper screw locations and drywall to give it it's strength. Of course you can always remove the drywall and add wood for a mounting point. I hope this helps.
