QuestionWhat is the spacing (vertically) between the studs? I know horizontally it can fit 16", 18". I am trying to look a for mount that fits existing stud holes in the wall.

- Answer The vertical distance on the bracket between the top and bottom slots for the lag screws (included) is 3-3/4". The horizontal spacing between studs can be practically anything as the slots run almost the full length of the bracket.

- Answer BB, There are two screws in the back to adjust the tilt. They both have 1 inch of free space that you could use. 4 inches are too much. Re-mounting the horizontal frame 4 inches higher is probably the safest and quickest solution.

- Answer Yes it will work but not a good option, I assume with that spacing it’s a smaller TV, if it is, then the wall bracket will be seen once the TV is up, also the brackets would sit close together on the back of the TV and it will feel flimsy on their but secure enough to not come off the wall bracket

QuestionBest Buy recently installed my 55" TV using this mount. I may want to lower the TV now. What would I need to do to lower it without removing the whole mount? I want to keep the mount where it is, and just lower the TV a few inches on the track.

- Answer You can adjust the height of the brackets that attach to the back of your TV higher or lower. If you move them higher on your TV it should drop it down.

QuestionWhat is the size of the hex head in the handles that tighten the tilt in position. Now that it’s mounted in a different location (vacation home) I need to go back with the right size Allen wrench to reach back behind and tighten it! Thanks!

- Answer 7/32 or 6mm fit in the handle on my handle, the best I can tell. The wrenches in my old Husky set are not marked. I will attach a photo showing the one extended that fit best.
